This Fall I’m definitely choosing to love ’em. I live in South Carolina, so flats have certainly become a necessity for me this Fall season for these two reasons:
1. I’m completely over the open-toed look by this time of year.
2. We all know flats are much more comfortable than knee-high boots in 80+ degree weather.
Here’s three different looks I’ve created (warm weather friendly, of course) with a couple of my favorite pairs:
This first pair, shown in the two pictures above, can easily take me from a weekend night of hanging out with family and cheering on our favorite college football team (first picture), to a comfortable work look to kick-off a Monday (remember my more casual office?).
And for their own close-up:
This pair has also proven to be super comfy since I purchased them a few months ago, and their tan/cognac color, that is a must this Fall, goes with everything!
Now for one more look:
While this look above may be the most simple/ relaxed of the three, the flats I’m wearing here have taken me through a few Fall seasons now. Their snakeskin look with a slight shimmer and gold studs on the back gives them a little something extra, yet they’re still neutral for pairing with many different looks.
Plus, who can complain when these puppies can take me somewhere like this on a perfect Fall day, all in the company of good friends, food, and drinks, 👍👍.
Mimosas anyone? Now I suggest you get your best pair of flats, and enjoy some beautiful Fall weather as well!
