Everyday Style: 3 Key Fall Pieces

Welcome to WearEDIT, and my first blog post…ever!   If you love clothes and finding new style inspirations as much as I do, then I hope you’ll also enjoy my blog as well.  I’m still learning/ working out all of the “kinks”, but I encourage you to read on, and also share your thoughts and ideas!

3 Key Fall Pieces:

So I’m not re-inventing any wheel on this one, because I know most women probably have these three key pieces, in some form or another, lurking in our closets:

1.  Dress

2.  Scarf

3.  Ankle Boots

Here’s one look I’ve put together with these things from my closet, most pieces pulled from my “closet archives” as I like to call them, except for the ankle boots, which are a recent purchase.

I actually wore this as a work look recently since my office is a little more casual.  The belted look with the scarf is also nothing new, as we’ve seen in recent years, but I feel it pulls the entire outfit together with a little more “polish” for the office.

How would you pair these 3 key pieces?

Here’s a couple more ideas, also straight from my closet archives:

Versatility rocks with these ankle boots.  Their cocoa color pairs well with the deeper Fall-like hues, as plainly evidenced in all three looks in this post, especially with this dress immediately above and below:

This last look below also brings in some deeper hues, and I especially love the teal gray color of the dress (pictures obviously do not do it justice!):

And these beauties definitely deserve to star in their very own pic as well:

Just so you know…

Look 1 (I’m wearing): Target dress (similar here) & scarf (another good option here ), both 5+ years ago

Look 2:  Ross dress, 2 years ago (check out their website here), & Target scarf, 4+ years ago (similar here)

Look 3:. LOFT dress, 3+ years ago (other good options here and here), & Cocobella Boutique scarf (Greenville, SC, check them out here)

Ankle boots: LOFT, this season (here)
